The team in Copenhagen is part of the global 3D giant Stratasys and responsible for a brand-new series of 3D printers with the ambition of moving 3D print from prototyping into production. You will play a key role in the team, developing a high-speed 3D printer based on world-leading piezoelectric drop-on-demand inkjet technologies.


Responsible for driving growth in the SAF product portfolio by executing strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. The Director, Product Management SAF will assume responsibilities for leadership of one or more product platforms in the current portfolio or in future additions to the portfolio.  As the platform leader, the Director, Product Management will directly manage the work activities of Product Managers and Applications Engineers assigned to the platform, as well as cross-functionally lead through influence the teams assigned (R&D, Operations, Customer Service, Sales, etc) to support and extend the platform.  The scope of work includes market and competitive analysis, collection and analysis of the Voice of Customer, product definition through creation of market and product requirements, financial opportunity analysis, messaging the product’s value to the market, defining user personas, developing product sales enablement, and creating the product’s GTM strategy. This individual will work cross-functionally with all aspects of the Stratasys business to drive alignment and deliver differentiated products to the market.

Responsibilities and duties:

Product Management

  • Manage the collection and analysis of voice of customer, industry trends, market needs, and competitive forces

  • Accountable for all phases of product development per the Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) process and Product Launch Process (PLP) including VOC, defining market and product requirements, and the financial business case

  • Directs for the assigned business unit, product advancements for new products and platforms, extensions and feature upgrades of existing product and continuation engineering efforts.  Has responsibility to coordinate, communicate and make tradeoff decisions for future, current, and past products

Team Leadership

  • Create and manage the cross-functional development team to deliver products per specification, on schedule and within the wholistic product criteria; set priorities and resolve conflict among team members

  • Hold and ensure proper facilitation of cross-functional team, phase gate, program readiness and lessons learned meetings

  • Ensure all team members have an ongoing understanding and are committed to program deliverables


  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

  • Attend all required company training

  • Demonstrate commitments to Stratasys Purpose, Mission and Vision by leading, acting, and modelling


This role may require up to 25% international travel. 


Requiered Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management or related role

  • 5+ years’ experience in people management

  • Demonstrated experience across the full cycle of new product development, from conception to end of service

  • Demonstrated experience with leading projects through stage gate processes

  • Ability to lead complex VoC activities to gather, test, and synthesize conclusions on customer needs

  • Demonstrated experience in market sizing, financial analysis, competitive analysis, product positioning, pricing, promotion, and similar product management responsibilities

  • Experience in commercializing products requiring complex combinations of disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, SW, and materials engineering


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing product management teams

  • MBA degree

  • Accreditations from Product Management or Project Management organization


Working as part of an international company, you will need to be fluent in written and spoken technical English.
