The Software Engineer should be passionate about working on complex software using industry-leading technologies such as React and TypeScript.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Developing code to enable software engineers to deliver products more efficiently.
· Troubleshoot and fix technical issues that arise and maintain existing code.
· Work with other developers, designers, product owners, and QA to build and improve our tools and software.
· Reduce technical debt and improve our software delivery systems.
· Clearly communicate technical decisions, vision, and progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Design and implement new software features.
· Build and deliver software that revolutionizes how things are made.
Basic Qualifications:
· 5+ years’ experience programming in commercial, open-source or academic software in a senior role
· Deep understanding of Typescript and working knowledge of other languages and frameworks such as React, OpenGL, WebGL, C#, and Microsoft development tools
· BSc or BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent in engineering, mathematics or computer science.
· Strong experience in software toolchains, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and good software development practices.
· Ability to work in a Scrum/Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with modern software development methodologies and tools
· Solid understanding of frontend and/or backend architecture
· Any or all of the following languages: TypeScript, JavaScript, C++, C#
· An understanding of how to maintain Continuous Integration builds.
· Familiarity with AWS (ECS, EC2, S3, …)
· Knowledge in any of the following: JavaScript test frameworks, Electron, yarn, npm, Node, React, GraphQL.
