The Territory Applications Engineer is responsible for supporting customer usage of Stratasys equipment and materials. This role will provide Additive Manufacturing Applications support for Stratasys pre-sale and post-sale customers as well as participating in ongoing projects and initiatives.
What you will be doing:
Customer Application Support
- Manage and implement multiple applications for new accounts.
- Lead interactions and visits with customers, driving positive actions from customer engagement resulting in increased utilization of additive technology.
- Research and learn high potential applications within a given customers workflow.
- Support company initiatives that provide insight and expertise of the products (i.e., Tradeshows, recorded webinars, participate in reseller events etc.)
- Work with customers to establish success criteria for technical application.
- Build and test real and virtual benchmarks to complete feasibility projects in reference to customer applications, configuration changes involving cost estimation, build process and lead implementations.
- Work with internal teams to share insights on application development.
- Serve as project leader on special applications for partners, customers, and prospects.
- Verify and process CAD data using various CAD software programs.
- Obtain and maintain proficiency in operating all relevant Stratasys product lines.
- Execute written application tutorials on industry related topics.
Must have for this role:
- 5+ years engineering experience
- 2-5 yrs. experience presenting or training on applications.
- 1-2 yrs. experience with traditional manufacturing methods
Education:
• Bachelors in engineering or related discipline with a minimum 5+ or related experience; or 3+ years of experience with an advance degree or PhD without experience or equivalent work experience.
Travel required: Up to 20%
