As a Software Engineer, you will work on cutting edge software for 3D printing products, including GrabCAD Print and GrabCAD Shop. We are looking for someone with strong web development skills using technologies like React, TypeScript, GraphQL, TypeORM, and Postgres. The specific technologies are not crucial. As a Software Engineer at Stratasys you will be part of a team responsible for the creation and maintenance of application software used to manage Stratasys printer products. Critical attributes of the software products include reliability, ease of use, reusability, ease of maintenance, and performance. Duties may include troubleshooting and maintaining existing software features, designing and implementing enhancements for existing products, and developing new products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver great user experiences
  • Design new libraries and components
  • Build high performance software that revolutionizes 3D printing
  • Identify and address performance issues across an application’s front end, server, and database
  • Use good patterns and organize code for long-term maintenance and extensibility
  • Support your team by delivering your part on time

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related science or engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of development experience

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Expertise in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Expertise in a major JavaScript web framework such as React, Angular, Elm, Ember, etc.
  • Experience with the modern JavaScript ecosystem including ECMAScript 6+, npm, babel, webpack, etc.
  • Experience optimizing relational database queries
  • Ability to write testable, resilient code with effective unit and integration tests and meaningful documentation
  • Ability to work with your scrum team to get the job done
  • Motivated self-directed learner
  • Strong customer focus
  • Bonuses: practical experience with Docker, GraphQL, Flux/Redux, Ruby on Rails, C#, C++, back end development, Amazon Web Services, or other software stacks
