Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for achieving a sales quota through conducting a mixture of outbound sales activities and managing inbound requests via telephone, email and virtual meetings. Execute structured campaigns for: (upsell/cross) (sell/retention/reactivation/promotions) to generate opportunities as well as to groom and qualify leads into opportunities. You will generate and deliver price quotations, handle objections and close sales orders while ensuring customer satisfaction.

 

This person will need to be able to identify influencers and decision makers within a company and initiate the sales process. Work collaboratively with multiple roles including customer success, product management, product marketing, business development, and project administrators, among others. Primary goal is to meet or exceed established sales activity and order generation goals for the software business unit.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your own expertise as well as the company’s established sales processes and product trainings to drive results.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest in our products. Execute structured campaigns (for example upsell/cross-sell/retention/reactivation/promotions) to groom and qualify leads into opportunities.
  • Actively engage with individuals within your specific group of accounts using lead scoring as a guide. Turn engagement into interest in our solutions, generate demand, and qualify for price quotations.
  • Utilize knowledge in all Stratasys software processes and company’s CRM, Salesforce.com, for all appropriate account management activities and quoting within 48 hours of occurrence. 
  • Deliver and close price quotations into orders.
  • Create weekly reports on success and conversion. Reporting on current and future pipeline of opportunities while utilizing tools like Salesforce.com and Google Sheets.
  • Provide oversight to software delivery from initial inquiry until the customer receives the product.
  • Deliver product demos to customers during sales calls and demo meetings. Work with customer success reps for any assistance during demos.
  • Organize and maintain the sales records, make sure all the necessary documents and information is in there and is correct before submitting the package to the billing department for invoicing.
  • Review daily updates, reports, and notifications on potential customer usage and lead development. Utilize these reports to contact leads and prospective customers for quoting.
  • Process customer feedback and requests and report through helpscout.com to product development and support.
  • Attend daily standups and weekly sprint reviews for the GTM organization.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years business-to-business selling experience with a proven track record of quota attainment through intensive e-mail, phone and WebEx activities.
  • 1+ years phone sales with experience dialing dozens of calls per day.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years business-to-business selling experience with a proven track record of quota attainment through intensive e-mail, phone and WebEx activities.
  • 2+ years phone sales with experience dialing 50 calls per day.
  • Excellent internal and external customer support-service, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; ability to handle many tasks simultaneously; can adapt to an ever-changing workload; and proactively responding to various last-minute requests is also necessary.
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial with a strong desire to learn.
  • Goal driven and competitive spirit.
  • Strong team and collaboration skills.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 10%
