The Inside Sales Representative will support inbound requests via telephone and live chat, including online shopper assistance. It will generate, limited in scope, and deliver price quotations to close into orders.  Execute structured campaigns for: (upsell/cross) (sell/retention/reactivation/promotions) to generate opportunities as well as to groom and qualify leads into opportunities.

 

This person will need to be able to identify influencers and decision makers within a company and initiate the sales process. Work collaboratively with multiple roles including outside sales, project engineering, project coordinators, business development, and project administrators among others. Primary goal is to meet or exceed established sales activity and order generation goals for an assigned group of accounts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize company’s established sales processes and product trainings to drive results.
  • Utilize knowledge in all additive manufacturing processes and company’s CRM, Salesforce.com, for all appropriate account management activities within 48 hours of occurrence.
  • Handle request personally, or if request is from an account outside of assigned responsibility, route as needed to Project Engineering or field sales for proper follow-up.
  • Utilize quoting software packages to process RFQ’s and part orders for prospects and customers; Verify and process CAD data using various CAD software.
  • Ensure the customer provides proper data needed to provide a quote.
  • Deliver and close price quotations into orders.
  • Prepare work orders and data for use in production and verify that all information is correct and complete.
  • Provide oversight to jobs from initial inquiry until the customer receives the product.
  • Initial point of contact to execute recovery plans when necessary and create corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Organize and maintain the Admin Folders, make sure all the necessary documents and information is in there and is correct before submitting the package to the billing department for invoicing.
  • Review daily updates, reports, and notifications and inform team members of pending concerns/issues. Daily utilization of the corporate order entry system, IQS and SolidJobs; importing orders, setting up shipments, and putting together clear and concise Work Orders.
  • Process customer returns and reworks. Identify, resolve, or escalate any disputer that’s may arise between SDM and its customers
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest in our products.Execute structured campaigns (for example upsell/cross-sell/retention/reactivation/promotions) to groom and qualify leads into opportunities.
  • Actively engage with individuals within your specific group of accounts using lead scoring as a guide. Turn engagement into interest in our solutions, generate demand, and qualify for price quotations.  Solicit incremental individuals to add to company CRM contact database.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years business-to-business selling experience with a proven track record of quota attainment through intensive e-mail, phone and WebEx activities.
  • 1+ years phone sales with experience dialing dozens of calls per day.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent internal and external customer support-service, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; ability to handle many tasks simultaneously; can adapt to an ever-changing workload; and proactively responding to various last-minute requests is also necessary.

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: 10%
