The GrabCAD Community intern will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the GrabCAD Community, engaging with community members, creating community geared content, and facilitating Community Challenges with companies like NASA, Boeing, and Airbus. By the end of the summer, you will make a presentation to company leaders outlining what you have learned and the recommendations you would make to help build a better Community.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Experience in community building or college clubs

  • Engineering/Design experience with teams or other individuals. Capable of reviewing others work and speaking about technical CAD model creation.

  • Writing and Communications – Capable of communicating via written posts and blogs.

  • GrabCAD Community Management – Learning how to manage a large online community, generate engagement, and enforce policy/guidelines.

  • Foster Community growth and engagement through communication and relationship building with Community members.

  • Running of Community Challenges – Learn how to work with large corporations to source CAD designs and models from our online community.

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree entering Junior year education of school (two years of higher education must be completed)
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Applications
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Preferred Skills:

  •  Engineering/Design Experience 

 

Travel Requirements: Rarely
