What we need:

Stratasys (RPS in the UK) are seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Stereolithography R&D team based in Aylesbury, UK.  This exciting role will contribute to the design and function of current and next generation products.  This is a hands-on role for a motivated individual who genuinely thrives in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.  It will provide a diverse, stimulating, and unique opportunity for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Project based activities, working individually and frequently as part of a team.
  • Project planning
    • Develop robust planning based on a problem, challenge, or hypothesis
    • Identify necessary activities, resources, pathway, and test methodologies
    • Produce system requirement document
    • Plan and agree programme with other team members
    • Determine reasoned timescales and schedule of deliverables.
  • Testing and evaluation work
  • Gain necessary knowledge and understanding through study
  • Research and validate component and materials options
  • Work with suppliers to determine or develop solutions
  • Track and proactively revaluate plans to achieve goals and commitments
  • Give regular process updates
  • Implement or handover solution


Education & Qualifications

  • Batchelor’s degree in relevant discipline, plus 5 years’ relevant work experience
  • Master’s degree in relevant discipline, plus 3 years relevant work experience

    • Electrical Engineering
    • Control Engineering
    • Lasers, beam deflection and positioning
    • Fluid transfer

Experience (preferred):

  • Beckhoff or other PLC control
  • Active interest in polymer 3D printing and materials
  • Experience in Stereolithography, DLP, or other photopolymer 3D Printing technologies
