Stratasys are looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join the production team located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

You will work alongside our Purchaser/Buyer and Production Team who work on high-end industrial 3D printers which are built to a very high standard, procuring parts and materials required for the smooth running of the business.

 

Some of your daily duties would include:

 

Key tasks will include:

  • Raise and expedite purchase orders to meet the demands of the business
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and 3PL partners over the phone and by email regarding delivery dates, orders and returns.
  • Creating intercompany sales orders.
  • Creation and Management of shipping documentation ensuring it is correct and complies with rules, regulations, and laws.
  • Manage activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to ensure established deadlines are met.
  • Managing of stock levels using IT systems
  • Resolve invoice queries
  • Co-ordinate with Global Logistics Team for the timely movement of orders
  • Other Ad-Hoc duties as required

 

We are keen to bring new people and ideas into the team; we don’t have a list of mandatory qualifications or skills to be considered for the role, although you will be expected to have some relevant experience of working within a purchasing and supply chain environment. However, some or all the following could be expected of you:

 

  • A strong willingness to fulfil the job role
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised and with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Good understanding of purchasing and supply chain
  • Be commercially aware
  • Experience in purchasing preferred – 1 year minimum
  • Team player maintains a positive attitude to work showing respect for other staff and visitors.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent IT skills with strong excel skills
