About the role

We are seeking a Materials Engineer to join the Stereolithography R&D team based in Aylesbury, UK. This exciting role offers scope to become a specialist in stereolithography materials and process optimisation. This is a hands-on role for a motivated individual who genuinely thrives in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. It will provide a stimulating and unique opportunity for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities & Tasks

This role will further the understanding and validation of materials suitable for use in the Neo product line. The role will also be involved in a variety of R&D projects and in time be the ‘go to’ expert for material related matters. This role will work independently and where required, as part of a larger team.

  • Validation of third-party materials for commercial use within Neo printers.
    • Identifying material characteristics and behaviour.
    • Verify mechanical properties.
    • Development of parameter sets.
    • Responsible for creation of user documentation.
    • Build technical relationship with material vendors.
  • Provide timely, reliable support to our Product Support team.
  • Assist, support, and play an active role in various R&D projects.
  • Develop, document, and implement improved material validation practices.
  • Support the team as required with the daily management of activities.


Education & Qualifications

  • Degree level in relevant subject; chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science, etc, or relevant work experience.
  • This role would be suitable for a graduate, and candidates with experience.
  • 2+ years' experience within Engineering

Experience of the following would be an advantage but not essential:
