Stratasys is looking for you to join our team as a Machinist 1 at our Austin, TX facility.  In this role you will produce machined parts by setting up and operating CNC machines.  You will maintain quality and safety standards, keep records, and maintain equipment and supplies.  Some of the responsibilities of this role are:

  • Review set up sheet and work order to understand requirements
  • Read and understand technical drawings with GD&T specifications
  • Review programming and set up machine for job requirements
  • Adjust speeds and feeds dependent on varying situations.
  • Select tooling for specific situations.

 

As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience operating CNC milling machines.
  • Math and computer skills to include understanding G&M Code.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical Degree or Certification in CNC Operations or equivalent experience.
  • General knowledge of CNC programming.
  • Experience operating CNC lathes, 3/4/ & 5 axis machining centers, and EDM machines
