The Applications Engineer will assist with driving customer usage of Stratasys software.  This role will assist in delivering Additive Manufacturing Applications support through software for Stratasys pre-sale and post-sale customers.

 

What you will be doing:

Customer Support

  • Support general customer inquiries
  • Interact and visit with customers in partnership with Salesperson or Sr Application Engineer
  • Support sale team on customer visits and assessments
  • Have knowledge of and understand high potential applications within a given customers workflow
  • Support company initiatives that provide insight of the products (i.e., Tradeshows, recorded webinars, reseller events)

 

Technical Development & Projects

  • Learn and execute written application tutorials on industry related topics
  • Build and test benchmark to complete feasibility projects in reference to customer applications, configuration changes involving cost estimation, build process and implementations
  • Document feedback to drive software product roadmaps

 

Application Development

  • Assist other Application Engineers with development of new applications, alpha testing, and beta programs
  • Have knowledge of workflows, preprocessing and post processing of parts
  • Verify and process CAD data using various CAD software programs
  • Ability to present and share knowledge

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or related discipline with a minimum 2+ or related experience; or an advance degree without experience
  • 1-2yrs experience utilizing CAD
  • 1-2 years customer software support and/or Training
