Recently established with a bold mission to accelerate the digital transformation of Dentistry and backed with disruptive new offerings, Stratasys Dental is looking for rock-star individuals to join our talented and growing team. The Application Engineer - Dental Solutions will play a key part in supporting our bold growth plans in this segment, by working with our Engineering teams and ecosystem partners to create innovative dental solutions and help streamline the integration of the Stratasys Dental products into the Dental production workflow. The role is based at the Baden-Baden HQ in Germany and reports to the Product Manager in Israel.   


Your role:  


  • You will work with development partners to bring innovative and disruptive dental solutions to market. 

  • You bring specialized knowledge of dental production workflows and will help to tailor Stratasys' cutting-edge solutions, for seamless integration and improvment of our customers current workflows. 

  • You will travel to customer locations as a primary customer-facing technical partner, project facilitator, and educator. 


Required Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Bio-Medical, Materials, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent. 

  • Minimum of 3+ years of work experience; customer-facing roles are an advantage  

  • Knowledge of dental CAD/CAM systems and prior work in dental laboratories will be an advantage 

  • Must be creative, self-motivated, and be able to work effectively on projects with minimal direct supervision. 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to resolve technical issues. 

  • Quick learner that is capable to quickly gain deep expertise in new professional areas. 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Industry experience in 3D Printing and/or Additive Manufacturing, and experience with Materialise Magics - strongly desired. 

  • Familiarity with FDA, ISO and USP certifications such as 510(k), PMA, USP Class Vi, ISO 13485, ISO 10993, food contact, biocompatibility, sterilization, and other pertinent and germane regulations. 

  • Working knowledge of anatomy, biology, organic chemistry, and demonstrated ability to understand medical or dental specific terminology. 

  • Excellent working knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of common manufacturing technologies and parts fabrication techniques across polymers, composites, metals and ceramics.
