In your role as Current Product Engineer you will be responsible for production line engineering of one or more Stratasys systems.

The position is located in Modi’in, Flextronics manufacturing site (Stratasys subcontractor) ,in Israel.

 

 

Essential duties:

  • Provide engineering support at system level for multidisciplinary products
  • Define machines integration process, improvements, and maintenance
  • Implement new product revisions (ECO – Engineering Change Orders) and escort new developed products to the production floor (NPI – New Product Implementation)
  • Monitor, interact, report and provide support to the production line, including escalations management
  • Analyze quality issues and manage remedial activities to enable production line continuity
  • Support 2nd source & cost saving activities from engineering aspects
  • Manage contractors for assembly lines and mechanical/ electromechanical parts manufacturing
  • Be responsible for timelines and deliverables in order to meet product’s goals in aspect of DFX objectives
  • Coordinates and participates with local R&D and NPI teams on design for production activities
  • Responsible for building and maintaining Product/Production file, Product documentation, BOM, jigs/tools, instructions etc.

 

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

  • BSc degree in Mechanical engineering- mandatory. Msc degree in Mechanical / systems Engineering- an advantage.
  • Proven experience with mechanical design
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Production Engineering and Manufacturing of machinery
  • Strong written and verbal English language communications skills. Strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships on a multi-level basis
  • Ability to present technical information and effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Change agent with energy, passion, and enthusiasm to drive change
  • Proven experience in multidiscipline environment
  • Experience in manufacturing technology activities – plastic molding, extrusion, casting etc. - an advantage.
  • Clear thinker: Simplifying strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions with speed & accuracy based on best available information and communicating priorities clearly & concisely.
  • Experience in leading a DFX process
  • Experience in CAD software – Solid Works an advantage
  • Experience in PDM / PLM tools – Agile an advantage
