We are looking for a Plans Floor Controller (TAPI) to join our Global Operations group, located in Kiryat Gat, Israel.
The plans floor controller is responsible for supporting production activity and making sure that business objectives are met. connects between the main function between the supply chain and the production floor and monitoring the production progress. the duties include controlling production plans’ identifying risks, reporting to managers, preventing shortages and excesses and maintain quality standards.
What you will be doing:
- Material flow in the production lines at consumables plants, including monitoring and controlling raw materials availability for production, managing shortages reports and work with all relevant teams in production lines and supply chain to fulfill required production plans.
- Performing daily meetings with team leaders in production to ensure compliance with production plans, addressing current issues that arise in the production line such as materials shortages, quality problems, improper raw materials parts, required for the synchronization operations tactical procurement staff, etc.
- Working with the plant's warehouse to ensure ongoing supplies to the production lines according to the production plans.
- Monitoring production progress according to the monthly / weekly work plan.
- Generating production plans vs actuals performances reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Serving as the main function that connects between the supply chain and the production floors.
- Working in full coordination with the local and global planning teams to ensure that the production plan complies with the requirements of the planning teams, and for R&D, engineering, quality, etc. departments.
Must have for this role:
- Industrial Engineering and Management or another degree in logistics management
- Previous experience as floor controller (TAPI), planning or other supply chain filed - an advantage
- Previous experience in high-tech manufacturing companies- an advantage
- Knowledge in ERP, Oracle is an advantage
- Good Excel skills
- Good level of English
