The Inventory Analyst is responsible for analysis, reporting, resolving issues, and ensuring the maintenance of optimal service levels of the North American logistics network, including transportation, warehousing, reverse logistics, and importing/exporting.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct hands-on interaction and problem-solving activities with 3rd Party Logistics Providers, Customs Brokers, Customs and Border Protection, and other government and regulatory agencies
  • Confer with logistics management teams to determine ways to optimize service levels, maintain supply chain efficiency or minimize cost
  • Prepare reports on inventory flow opportunities and site performance measures and recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes
  • Provide ongoing analyses in areas such as transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, or delivery processes
  • Ensure shipping transactions are accurately and timely processed to guarantee customer satisfaction

 

 Must have for this role:

  • Knowledge and expertise in domestic and international transportation, warehousing, and reverse logistics
  • Ability and willingness to become a subject matter expert in Oracle
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems related to Supply Chain functions
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Goods Shipping Regulations
  • Ability to work well with others

 

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics related field preferred 
  • Ability to manage through change and to lead change when appropriate
