Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician provides broad maintenance support for the Polyjet machines in the Wallace Rd facility located in Eden Prairie, MN. 

In this role you will handle routine repairs, machine maintenance, and other projects.  Coordinates with other machine maintenance teams to keep all machines at the facility on a routine maintenance schedule ary

What you will be doing:

• This position will troubleshoot low to intermediate-level incidents involving Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office, Windows Server, Windows XP and 7, IIS, SQL Server, and SharePoint
• Provides over-the-phone Help Desk support to technical and non-technical end users, supporting a variety of desktop, laptop, and mobile-based hardware and software.
• Position is responsible for timely resolution and escalation of support requests.
• Learns from and supports other more senior technicians.
• Ability to translate application knowledge into customer action.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on all facility additive machines according to assigned schedule.
• Notifies the Machine Maintenance Manager or Facility Manager of machines needing repair or more extensive maintenance.
• Monitors any outside vendors on site for repairs.
• Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.

Must have for this role:

• 1-2 yrs. of Service Desk or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 yrs. of troubleshooting and application support or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 year experience in repairs and mechanical maintenance.
• Working Knowledge of service delivery procedures; previous knowledge of a ticketing system
• Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatics principles and theories.
• Experience with various hand and power tools   
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
