Project management of products as they work their way through our product lifecycle management (PLCM) process and related product management processes.  The primary role of the project manager is to lead projects through processes, identify risk, and help to develop corrective actions. The project manager will also be asked to proactively identify process improvement opportunities and provide change recommendations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Project Management

  • Manage cross-functional teams to deliver project deliverables per specifications and schedule; set priorities and resolve conflict among functions
  • Accountable for all phases of the Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) process, including:
    • Project scope management
    • Project schedule and development
    • Tracking and reporting and overall project status
    • Risk identification and mitigation plan development
    • Project cost estimating and reporting
    • Administrative duties related to the project
  • Work with product manager to identify & assign tasks to project team leaders for PLCM and other product processes
  • Coordinates project forums (e.g., status, boards, gate meetings, project launch plan), owns and drives follow-up on notes and action items
  • Responsible for maintaining project accuracy within various project tracking tools (boards & dashboards)
  • Performing daily/weekly administrative duties as needed
  • Provide pro-active communication of program status to relevant functional managers, project stakeholders and program sponsors

 

Process Management

  • Hold and ensure proper facilitation of cross-functional team, phase gate, program readiness and lessons learned meetings
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and provide change recommendations
  • Ensure all team members have an ongoing understanding to program deliverables

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

  • Technical degree in graphic design or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a design role.
  • 2+ years of working with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat Professional

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in managing projects or directing cross-functional teams
  • 1+ years of experience in an engineering/product environment with sStrong program/project management skills & strong facilitation skills
  • 1+ years of experience leading diverse, high performing matrixed teams
  • 1+ years of experience with a project management tool, such as Microsoft Project or Monday.com
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information that can be easily consumed by team members and leadership
  • Degree in technical/engineering field
  • Experience managing Product Lifecycle Management (PLCM) workflows
  • Accreditations from Project Management organizations
