Stratasys Direct Manufacturing is searching for a Production Manager for its Eden Prairie facility off of Wallace Rd.  In this role you will direct the development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives.  You will work with Leaders on the development of the production plan, will execute the schedules and plans through direct labor resources.  In this position you will administer procedures and budgets as well as prioritize production schedules based on product introductions, equipment, and materials supply.  Some other roles and responsibilities include:

  • Execute the production schedule in assigned production areas to meet daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Foster good communication and teamwork within production and with other departments.
  • Develop and implement workplace standards
  • Supervise operations of a production business unit including workflow, people and resources.


As a part of Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 



  • Associates Degree in a technical or business field or equivalent education and experience.
  • 15+ years experience in a production environment
  • 8+ years experience in a supervisory role in a production environment



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
  • Experience in a multi-shift production environment
  • Lean Certification
  • Six Sigma
