The Production Lead responsible to ensure production schedules are achieved, production procedures are followed, and be the lead assembler on the assigned product work cell.  The position will assist the production leadership team in the daily coordination of work activities and the technical development of position employees. 



  • Lead the production team to ensure daily and weekly production schedules are met through coordination of production activities in the assigned areas; Lead Tier 1 meetings and attend  Tier 2 meetings
  • Ensure transactions are completed accurately and troubleshoot issues as necessary
  • Coordinate training and certification of production team and maintain required documentation
  • Train assemblers in the assigned area on the technical qualifications to meet the quality standards.
  • Develop teamwork in the assigned areas; will work with leadership to resolve teamwork issues and ensure performance issues are addressed by leadership
  • Works with engineering in conducting tests and experiments.
  • Ensure product quality requirements are met and that the production team follows all production processes
  • Escalate production quality issues cross-functionally per established processes
  • Learn and participate in Lean Manufacturing activities
  • May assist in developing methods in product improvements and procedures for quality assurance and control.
  • Responsible for working in compliance to all Quality Management Systems.
  • Generate, update and maintain documentation to ensure oracle transaction are completed, inventory transaction, transfers and MRB procedures.
  • Lead the team in trouble shooting and problem-solving production issues to minimized downtime
  • Develops and sustains process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields
  • Ensure production team conformance to safety procedures through daily monitoring, documenting of issues and preventative action
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area



  • High School Diploma, or equivalent (12+ years of manufacturing experience in lieu of education)
  • 8+ years manufacturing experience on multiple product lines
  • 2+ years of working in manufacturing process to include sub-assemblies
  • 2+ years ERP system knowledge



  • Experience in Project management
  • Experience with LEAN Manufacturing
  • Fundamental leadership skills
