Stratasys is currently seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician at one of our facilities in Eden Prairie, MN. In this role, you will be responsible to perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance on assigned systems & materials on the production floor. To determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
In this role you will also:
- Maintain and repair assigned equipment on the production floor with routine maintenance information
- Responsible for preventative maintenance, upkeep of equipment through regularly scheduled checks
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating, or repair manuals
- Main point of contact for production floor in the areas of equipment operations, installation, maintenance, and applicable training
- Oversee the reliability and uptime issues on equipment to ensure a high level of satisfaction and reliability of prototypes and production parts on 3D printers for customers
As a part of Stratasys, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical trade or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience supporting complex electro-mechanical equipment
- Experience with hand and power tools to perform the job
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software applications
- Rapid Prototyping industry experience
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
