The Business Systems team at Stratasys is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team and build functional applications and services. The Sr. Software Developer responsibilities include participating in the entire software development life cycle, debugging applications, configuring existing systems and deploying applications. You will use your expertise in the .NET framework to help us deploy high-quality internal and external customer facing applications.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to work closely with and effectively communicate with various stake holders and gather requirements
  • Analyze, code, implement test and update existing and new applications
  • Ability to learn new skills, adapt to new situations, and work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Responsible for the build and deployment side of the application
  • Passion to do whatever it takes to independently solve complex problems, attention to detail and good debugging and technical troubleshooting skills

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering
  • 5+ years combined experience in a senior role as a .NET Software Engineer
  • 3+ years expertise with C#, .NET Framework, Object Oriented Programming, Web API, LINQ/EF, SQL Server
  • 3+ years extensive experience developing Windows Forms applications, proficiency in front-end as well as back-end development and ability to bridge front-end and back-end design
  • 3+ years experience with DevExpress, SSRS or similar reporting framework
  • 2+ years experience of version control and source code management using GitHub or SVN
  • Able to do Unit Testing & Integrated Testing on the code developed.
  • 2+ years experience designing and developing re-usable libraries in .NET

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of 3D Printing and CAD/CAM modeling
  • Interest or passion for 3D printing and automation
  • Prior experience working in an Agile, CI/CD environment using JIRA and Confluence
  • Some development experience in mobile device environments
  • Good understanding of the quote/order/manufacturing/shipping/invoice process
  • Excellent technical documentation and communication skills
  • 1+ years experience using nUnit, xUnit or similar
