This Quality Assurance Engineer will develop / maintain internal quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies to improve products, services and systems to exceed customer expectations, improve manufacturing processes, and mitigate waste related to product quality.


  • Explore new technologies, methods, and benchmark industry best practices for improvement of software, quality inspection processes, product audits, and process audits.
  • Evaluate how production SPC data is collected, calculated, and analyzed to determine ongoing suitability, and take the appropriate actions to continually improve SPC processes.
  • Collaborate with others to maintain ISO 9001 & AS 9100 registrations and regulatory conformance.
  • Collaborate with sales, vendors, and customer service teams to manage customer complaints and nonconformance's by acting as a "voice of quality" with the Material Review Board.  
  • Implement certified supplier programs and supplied data agreements with customers and vendors.
  • Create inspection procedures and Quality Work Instructions and ensure it is followed for each part. Develop and implement training of QA inspection personnel on procedures and equipment. Inspect all Aerospace parts and performs first article inspection (about 15% of time).
  • Will lift up to 25 lbs. 


As a part of Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, this position requires access to information and/or technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).  The successful candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (or, green card holder), protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. 



  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or Quality Assurance with emphasis on reliability, test engineering, failure analysis or manufacturing and a minimum of 3+ years in a related position.  
  • Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with ISO 9000 and AS9100D.
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and related software.
  • Prior experience of blue print reading and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience using inspection equipment, such as micrometers, tool scopes, and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), etc.



  • ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification, with special consideration for CQE and Six Sigma, as evidenced by certification number in your resume. Recently expired certifications will be considered.
  • Experience with submission/acceptance of automotive, medical, or aerospace versions of PPAP.
