The Business Systems team at Stratasys is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team and build functional applications and services. The Senior Full Stack Developer is responsible for full stack web development. The is a truly green field opportunity with the opportunity to implement vision from coding standards to CI/CD process through deployment best practices.

 

This role includes architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for our Value Based Services line of business.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies
  • Work closely with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
  • Analyze, code, implement test and update existing and new applications
  • Learn new skills, adapt to new situations, and work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Responsible for the build and deployment side of the application
  • Have passion to do whatever it takes to independently solve complex problems, attention to detail and good debugging and technical troubleshooting skills
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies
  • Ensuring solutions are resilient, scalable, secure, and efficient

 

Must have for this role:

  • College Degree in Computer Science (or Engineering or related field)
  • 7+ years of development experience (must possess high proficiency) as a full-stack developer (including frontend, backend, database, deployment, and operations)
  • 5+ years experience  with:
    • Application security, especially in Microsoft Azure environment
    • Front-end web development such as HTML, CSS, and Redux
    • T-SQL and stored procedures in a Microsoft SQLServer environment
  • 3+ years experience with:
    • C#, .NET Framework, Object Oriented Programming, Web API
    • Angular, React, ReactNative and/or similar UI library
    • Microservices, REST/ RESTful, SOAP API’s
    • Developing Windows Forms applications and ability to bridge front-end and back-end design
    • Version control and source code management using SVN, GIT, or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience of Unit Testing & Integrated Testing on the code developed

 

Nice to have:

  • Role requires some degree of flexibility and re-prioritization at short notice
  • Microservices architectures
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment
  • DevExpress, SSRS, Power BI or similar reporting framework
  • Developing in mobile device environments
  • Working in an Agile, CI/CD environment using JIRA and Confluence
  • Interest or passion for 3D printing and automation
  • Understanding of 3D Printing and CAD/CAM modeling
  • Good understanding of the quote/order/manufacturing/shipping/invoice process
  • Excellent technical documentation and communication skills

 

Travel required: 20%
